Warehouse Operative

The Best Connection are currently seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our well established client based in Crawley/Gatwick.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment within logistics distribution and supply chain industry, with full training provided and opportunities for long-term employment and progression.

Due to the site's location, you will need to drive.

Location: Crawley / Gatwick Area

Pay: 12.71 per hour

Hours: 5 out of 7 days, 6:30am - 3:30pm

Contract: Full-Time 12 week Temp-Perm

Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:

• Packing, labelling and preparing products for dispatch.
• Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Helping load and unload stock from vehicles.
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and compliant with health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the team to ensure production deadlines are met.

Requirements of the Warehouse Operative:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
• Must be comfortable with heavy lifting.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport due to the site location.
• Valid passport.
• Ability to complete a 5-year background check and DBS check.
