Yard Supervisor Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee daily yard operations within a busy construction materials environment. Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage the team to ensure smooth and efficient order processing, stock management, and customer service.

Yard Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage yard staff to meet daily operational targets
• Ensure timely picking and accurate processing of all orders
• Maintain stock quality and manage stock counts
• Collaborate with other departments to support smooth workflows
• Adhere to and enforce Health & Safety and operational procedures
• Operate sideloader and counterbalance vehicles as needed
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives

Yard Supervisor Skills and Experience:

• Experience in construction materials or related industries
• Strong leadership and delegation skills
• Excellent customer service focus
• Forklift (sideloader & counterbalance) operation experience
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Hands-on approach and willingness to be flexible
