Young Person's Support Worker

Full job description

We are recruiting for Young Person Worker to support Looked After Children, Care Leavers aged 16-17, and Adults at Risk within supported accommodation services.

Job Title: Young Person Worker - Supported Accommodation

Location: Brighton

Working Hours: Full-time Flexible shifts including weekends & sleep-ins

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-to-one support and key working sessions

Complete support plans, risk assessments, and case recordings

Support young people with independent living skills including budgeting, cooking, tenancy readiness, and accessing services

Work alongside social workers, housing teams, and external agencies

Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes

Experience Required:

Experience supporting vulnerable young people or adults with complex needs

Knowledge of safeguarding and trauma-informed support

Good communication, report writing, and organisational skills

Ability to manage caseloads and work independently
