This is a varied and rewarding role where you ll work with a diverse client base across accounting, tax, and VAT, while also developing your mentoring and technical skills. Role responsibilities: <ul> <li> Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and tax returns for individuals and businesses </li> <li> Assisting with VAT compliance and advising clients on relevant issues </li> <li> Managing your own portfolio and building strong client relationships </li> <li> Coaching and supporting junior team members </li> <li> Developing your skills in cloud accounting platforms, including Xero </li> </ul> What we re looking for: <ul> <li> AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified </li> <li> Strong experience in accounts preparation within practice </li> <li> Solid understanding of UK tax compliance </li> <li> Organised, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines </li> <li> Comfortable using Excel, Word, and cloud-based tools </li> </ul> What s in it for you: <ul> <li> Ongoing training and development through internal and external CPD </li> <li> Opportunities to grow within a progressive and team-focused environment </li> <li> Flexibility to work from Eastbourne or Hove office </li> <li> Competitive salary, dependent on qualifications and experience </li> </ul>
