Job Title: Personal Assistant (PA)

Location: Brighton, East Sussex (Office-based / Hybrid options available)Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)Reporting to: Director / Senior Executive / Private Individual

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and dependable Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to a senior executive. This Brighton-based role involves a mix of business and personal administration, requiring discretion, flexibility, and excellent organisational skills.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to manage a varied workload efficiently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Diary & Schedule Management

  • Manage complex calendars, appointments, and scheduling conflicts
  • Coordinate meetings, bookings, and personal engagements
  • Ensure effective time management and prioritisation of commitments

Administrative Support

  • Handle correspondence, emails, and telephone calls
  • Draft letters, documents, and communications on behalf of the executive
  • Organise and maintain filing systems (digital and paper-based)

Personal Support

  • Assist with personal errands and day-to-day requests
  • Arrange personal appointments (e.g. medical, travel, dining reservations)
  • Support with household or lifestyle management where required

Travel & Event Coordination

  • Plan and book travel arrangements, including transport and accommodation
  • Create detailed travel itineraries
  • Assist in organising events, meetings, or private functions

Financial & Household Administration

  • Support with basic financial tasks such as expenses, invoices, and budgeting
  • Liaise with service providers, contractors, and suppliers
  • Monitor and manage bills, subscriptions, or household expenses if required

Confidentiality & Liaison

  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Act as a gatekeeper and key point of contact for the executive
  • Build relationships with internal staff, external partners, and personal contacts

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • High level of discretion and trustworthiness
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Ability to multitask and work independently

Desirable

  • Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals or senior executives
  • Flexibility with working hours where required
  • Driving licence (if travel or errands are required)
