This role is pivotal in maintaining exceptional product quality, operational safety, and environmental responsibility in a precision manufacturing environment producing both electronic components and mechanical assemblies. Key Responsibilities Quality Management <ul> <li>Develop, implement, and maintain a certified Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all applicable industry standards.</li> <li>Lead quality planning, process validation, and PPAP submissions for automotive customers.</li> <li>Manage QA and QC functions, ensuring resources are sufficient to meet operational demands.</li> <li>Maintain effective communication with OEM customers and subsidiaries worldwide.</li> </ul> Health &amp; Safety <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, including ESD safety, hazardous materials handling, and machine safety.</li> <li>Conduct risk assessments and provide targeted safety training for electronics and mechanical assembly teams.</li> <li>Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, implementing corrective actions as required.</li> </ul> Environmental Management <ul> <li>Maintain compliance with ISO 14001 and manage initiatives for chemical storage, e-waste disposal, and resource efficiency.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to RoHS, REACH, and other environmental directives.</li> </ul> Systems &amp; Continuous Improvement <ul> <li>Lead QHSE continuous improvement programmes using tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Lean Six Sigma.</li> <li>Manage document control to ensure all QHSE policies, SOPs, and work instructions are up to date.</li> <li>Track, analyse, and report on QHSE KPIs, including defect rates, customer returns, audit findings, and safety incidents.</li> </ul> Candidate Profile <ul> <li>Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years QHSE experience within electronics manufacturing or mechanical assembly.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.</li> <li>Good working knowledge of IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Standard &amp; Core Tools.</li> <li>Skilled in auditing, root cause analysis, PPAP, APQP, and control plans.</li> <li>Proficient in MS Office and QHSE software (e.g., NCR tracking, audit scheduling, risk assessments).</li> </ul> Desirable Skills <ul> <li>Knowledge of product realisation processes, design, and manufacturing.</li> <li>Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.</li> <li>Ability to communicate in a second language (French, Spanish, or German) is advantageous.</li> </ul> Key Competencies <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.</li> <li>Effective communicator with leadership and coaching skills.</li> <li>Collaborative, able to work across engineering, production, and customer-facing teams.</li> <li>Proven record of maintaining compliance within regulated manufacturing environments.</li> </ul> If you re looking for a role with real impact, within a forward-thinking company that rewards hard work and supports career growth, this could be the ideal opportunity.
