Senior Architectural Designer East Grinstead, West Sussex Full Time, Permanent 30,000 - 50,000 We are exclusively working with a well-established and highly respected name in the bespoke timber frame home sector. They are currently on the lookout for a Senior Architectural Designer to join their successful and expanding design team.With decades of experience and thousands of homes built, this company leads the way in designing and supplying high-quality, energy-efficient residential properties, ranging from unique one-off self-builds to small-scale developments.As a Senior Architectural Designer, you will:<ul><li>Design and develop bespoke timber frame homes and residential schemes.</li><li>Translate client vision into clear, buildable technical designs using Sketch-up and AutoCAD.</li><li>Liaise with project managers and occasionally clients to understand their brief.</li><li>Produce high-quality technical drawings and specifications.</li><li>Prepare and coordinate building control applications, including condition discharge.</li><li>Contribute to the refinement and implementation of workflows and standards.</li><li>Collaborate closely with internal manufacturing and construction teams.</li></ul>We are looking for a Senior Architectural Designer who has:<ul><li>Strong experience using Sketch-up and AutoCAD.</li><li>A solid understanding of timber frame construction and detailing.</li><li>Good working knowledge of UK building regulations and CDM requirements.</li><li>A creative yet practical mindset, with a keen eye for technical accuracy.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.</li></ul>If you're a technically driven designer with a passion for quality residential design, looking to take the next step toward management, we'd love to hear from you.
