Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Support the emotional, physical, and educational development of young people.</li> <li>Contribute to and implement individual care plans and risk assessments.</li> <li>Maintain high standards in residential care as expected by Ofsted.</li> <li>Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals.</li> <li>Serve as a consistent, positive role model and mentor.</li> <li>Manage challenging behaviour and support children in crisis with a calm, trauma-informed approach.</li> <li>Encourage the development of independence, life skills, and social integration.</li> <li>Maintain detailed, accurate records and follow procedures and risk assessments.</li> </ul> What We're Looking For <ul> <li>A genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs and trauma backgrounds.</li> <li>Resilience, patience, and commitment to never giving up on a child.</li> <li>Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul> Experience in children s residential care is welcomed but not essential. We value a wide range of life experiences and transferable skills, including hobbies or talents that can positively engage young people. Shift Pattern &amp; Hours <ul> <li>5-week rolling rota: 2 days on, 3 days off</li> <li>Shifts: 10:00 AM 11:00 PM (followed by a sleep-in)</li> <li>Flexibility to cover early or late shifts between 7:30 AM and 10:30 PM</li> <li>Includes weekend work as part of the rota</li> </ul> Ready to Make a Difference?
