HGV Mechanic / Technician

Location: Chichester
Hours: 47.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join our in-house workshop maintaining our own fleet of commercial vehicles.
This is a Monday-Friday, days-only role with no night shifts or weekend work , offering a stable and predictable working environment.
Unlike many HGV roles, you will be working on a local, well-maintained fleet within our own workshop - no long-distance travel or constant roadside pressure .
What You'll Be Doing
Servicing, inspections and routine maintenance of HGV/LGV vehicles
PMI inspections and MOT preparation
Fault finding and repairs (mechanical and basic electrical)
Maintaining accurate service and compliance records
Supporting the upkeep of a clean and safe workshop
About You
Experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
Knowledge of inspections, servicing and MOT prep
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
HGV licence (desirable but not essential)
Hours
Monday to Friday
07:00 - 17:00
47.5 hours per week
No night shifts
