Job description:
Vinyl Floor Layer required for a Industrial project. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Vinyl Floor Layer to assist our client with a project based in Bexhill, East Sussex. Own transport & tools required.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Preparing subfloors (screeding, smoothing, ply-boarding) to ensure a perfect base.
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting domestic and commercial sheet vinyl.
- Installing Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) & Luxury Vinyl Planks (LVP), including complex patterns & borders.
- Ensuring all welds, seams, & transitions are flawlessly finished.
- Providing excellent customer service & leaving work sites clean and tidy.
Requirements for the role
- A valid CSCS card, Own tools & transport
- Previous Vinyl Floor Layer experience
- References upon request
- You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.
Training/Progression opportunities:
There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management
Rate of Pay
Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
