The Site Agent would be responsible for: <ul> <li>Managing day to day site operations </li> <li>Ensuring construction is completed in accordance with company &amp; industry health &amp; safety standards, and is in budget, and on the expected timeline</li> <li>Liaising with internal teams to plan and programme construction and installation works</li> <li>Management of plant, materials, and site labour</li> <li>Subcontractor liaison and management</li> <li>Leading site meetings to discuss project resources, timeline, budget etc</li> <li>Contribute to work planning, and briefing project teams, contractors, and suppliers</li> <li>Full handover of projects</li> </ul> They are able to offer an excellent salary &amp; package, including car allowance/company car, healthcare, employee &amp; employer pension, support for further learning (training courses, degrees, chartership) and other benefits. Site Agent - Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. As a key member of our clients team geotechnical department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing ground engineering solutions for their clients. You will also have the opportunity to grow a design team and really progress with the business into management. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Design and develop geotechnical solutions for clients including foundation design and pile design.</li> <li>Collaborate with structural engineers to achieve cost-effective foundation solutions based on site-specific ground conditions.</li> <li>Assess site conditions, including ground contaminants and potential for heave.</li> <li>Prepare calculations, written reports, and check drawings.</li> <li>Develop site investigation briefs to meet design requirements.</li> <li>Assist with appointing and carrying out site investigations relevant to proposals.</li> <li>Visit sites as required.</li> <li>Support senior engineers.</li> </ul> Person Specification: <ul> <li>18 months of geotechnical design experience preferred, but a raw graduate with a passion for geotechnics will be considered.</li> <li>Degree or higher in geotechnics or a related field.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced subcontracting environment.</li> <li>Strong technical writing and numerical modeling skills.</li> <li>Critical thinking skills and a passion for customer satisfaction.</li> </ul>
