Volunteer Car DriverSummaryCommunity Transport Sussex (CTS) Volunteer Drivers provide support for our CTS services that reduce social isolation and ensure that everyone has access to affordable and safe transport.&nbsp;Driving volunteers work on our Dial-a-Ride service, which provides transport for people needing to access their medical appointments, Vaccine appointments, day centres, shopping centres and social outings.&nbsp;This position is entirely voluntary. You can choose when you wish to offer your support and what type of driving you would like to be involved in. You will usually be required to use your own vehicle but may also be asked to drive one of CT Sussex’s Minibuses or Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles.&nbsp;All bookings are agreed with you in advance via phone or email, and you will receive expenses of 45-50p per mile.
