A welcoming and well-established school in the East Grinstead area is looking to appoint a proactive and commercially minded Lettings Manager to oversee the successful operation of its facilities outside of school hours.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, coordinating bookings and helping maximise the use of excellent school facilities for the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the school's lettings programme from enquiry through to completion.
- Develop relationships with sports clubs, community organisations and local businesses.
- Coordinate caretaking and site teams to ensure facilities are ready for use.
- Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety and compliance procedures are adhered to.
- Monitor bookings, prepare invoices and maintain accurate records.
- Identify opportunities to increase community usage and generate additional income.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all external hirers.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in facilities management, venue management, hospitality or events.
- Is confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Has excellent organisational and IT skills.
- Can work independently and use initiative.
- Is flexible to support evening and occasional weekend lettings.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and maintaining high professional standards.
