Year 6 Teaching Assistant - Brighton Primary School Part-Time Monday & Friday September Start

A welcoming primary school in Brighton, easily accessible by public transport, is looking for an experienced and confident Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled TA who has experience supporting upper Key Stage 2 pupils and can provide both academic support and strong behaviour management.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within Year 6 or KS2.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the confidence to support pupils with a range of needs.
  • The ability to provide targeted academic support in preparation for end-of-key-stage expectations.
  • A calm, consistent, and positive approach to building relationships with pupils.
  • Experience supporting individuals and small groups to help children achieve their potential.
Role details:
  • Start Date: September
  • Days: Monday and Friday
  • Location: Brighton (excellent public transport links)
