SEN Learning Support Assistant - Eastbourne

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

Academics are recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistants to work in specialist SEN schools across Eastbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language needs and Complex Learning Difficulties.

The Role

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Work alongside experienced SEN Teachers and Therapists
  • Encourage learning, communication and independence
  • Create a positive and nurturing learning environment

We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred)
  • A caring, patient and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
