What You'll Be Doing

• Operate manual lathes and milling machines to produce precision components
• Machine parts to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Carry out basic inspection using measuring equipment
• Ensure components meet specification before release
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience operating manual lathes and mills
• Ability to machine components to tight tolerances
• Confident reading engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience within a precision engineering or machine shop environment
