Make a Difference Every DayAre you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We're looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Worthing.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help pupils with special educational needs achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with special educational needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Support pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and personal development.
  • Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in school life.
About You
  • A caring, patient, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH, is advantageous.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
