With offices in Crawley, London and Southampton, the business has seen significant growth over the last 12 months and is looking to expand its Finance team.Job purposeResponsible for the end-to-end accounts administration of billing, from managing the initial invoice through to debt collection, email enquiries and dispute resolution. This role will also provide purchase ledger and other administrative support to the business.Role responsibilities<ul><li>Contract invoicing&nbsp;– raising invoices/credit notes</li><li>Printing invoicing –&nbsp;raising invoices/credit notes</li><li>Account management&nbsp;– resolving queries, allocating payments and reconciling accounts</li><li>Credit control&nbsp;– sending statements, chasing overdue debt and escalating where needed</li><li>Banking&nbsp;– arranging direct debits, reconciling to the bank and posting daily transactions</li><li>Customer support&nbsp;– answering the phones</li><li>Accounts payable&nbsp;– ad hoc support for accounts payable and cover for colleagues</li><li>Contracts –&nbsp;Creation and checking of existing contracts.</li><li>SOP –&nbsp;Opening of New Accounts/ Contract set-up</li><li>Project support&nbsp;– supporting the Group with any new projects.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in a sales ledger or accounts receivable is essential</li><li>Familiarity with Xero or Microsoft Business Central would be beneficial</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management ability</li><li>A genuine team player who proactively seeks to contribute to a team</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Pension with Royal London</li><li>25 days per annum annual leave (excluding bank holidays)</li><li>Volunteer leave</li><li>Private healthcare post probation</li><li>Group life assurance post probation</li><li>Group income protection post probation</li><li>Quarterly staff socials</li></ul>SOS is a proud equal opportunity employer, and we value diversity and an inclusive workplace.
