Construction Logistics Manager Required London Projects
Brighton Area
Start Mid August - Start Of Sept Start
Long Term - 5 years work.
Site Hours - 8am - 6pm
We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to our new project in Brighton.
Large Multi Phase Mixed Use Residential New Build 10 + Blocks Multi Phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing Sub Contractors and site logistics operations on busy construction projects
- Managing deliveries, traffic management plans, and site access
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
- White Board Meetings - DABS
- Ensuring health & safety compliance across site logistics activities
- Liaising with site management and project teams
- Maintaining high standards of organisation and efficiency
- Managed all site logistics for multiple construction projects, ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and plant.
- Planned and coordinated transportation schedules to meet project deadlines while minimizing delays and costs.
- Supervised warehouse operations, inventory control, and material distribution across construction sites.
- Coordinated with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and procurement teams to maintain uninterrupted workflow.
- Monitored logistics budgets, negotiated with transport providers, and implemented cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensured compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Led and trained logistics staff, drivers, and site coordinators to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintained accurate logistics records, delivery schedules, and inventory reports using ERP/logistics management systems.
- Resolved delivery issues, supply chain disruptions, and site access challenges with minimal impact on project progress.
- Improved logistics performance through continuous process improvements, resulting in reduced material wastage and increased productivity.
Requirements:
- Valid Black CSCS Card
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- First Aid at Work certification
- SEATS qualification - Advantageous
- Previous experience in a similar role on London construction projects
- Strong communication and leadership skills
