Every day is different, from investigating water supply issues and mains bursts to helping our customers when things aren’t running smoothly. Our technicians enjoy seeking out solutions to a range of water issues and positively representing South East Water when talking to our customers. Previous water industry or plumbing experience is welcome but isn’t essential for this role. As you grow your skills, we’ll increase your base salary from £29,337 - £37,533 per annum via a clear salary progression scheme. Our technicians know how crucial water is to the community, which is why they are happy to work out-of-office hours when needed. Our work patterns are 07:00-15:00, 08:00-16:00 and 09:00-17:00. Once you’re trained, you’ll join a standby rota to provide out of hours assistance. Distribution Technician

Summary:You’ll take up this crucial role as a Process Technician to join our team that keeps the water flowing for millions of customers every day. You’ll use your skills, know-how and attention to detail, along with a dependable approach, to operate and maintain our production sites, reservoirs and pumping stations.&nbsp;You’ll manage water level and flow within our reservoirs and pumping stations to ensure we provide a continuous water supply to the communities we serve.Experience in water treatment processes would be beneficial. Ideally, you’ll have experience in process operations or an electrical / mechanical engineering background.You’ll operate, maintain and manage our water production sites by monitoring, optimising and continuously improving water treatment processes. Your attention to details means that data will be correctly recorded and work management systems updated accurately.It’s crucial that you’re an agile team player and confident working alone. We provide a company van as this role involves working at different locations within the Hampshire area.Working hours are 37 hours per week (7.00am to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday).
