Part Time Accounts Assistant

Permanent

24 - 30 hours per week

Based in Bolney (you must be a car driver due to the location)

£28,000 - £32,000 per annum pro rata plus discretionary bonus plus some support towards study

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join an established business in the Bolney area on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some accounts experience who is looking to develop their skills and take on greater responsibility. You will gain hands-on experience managing the accounts for a small subsidiary within a larger organisation, with full training and ongoing support from the Head of Finance to help you succeed in the role.

Your duties will include:

• Processing and coding supplier invoices
• Assist with accruals report
• Liaise with suppliers with invoice queries
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Month-end account preparation
• Prepare a simple set of accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with year-end accounts

Key requirements:

• You must be a car driver
• Some experience of working within finance would be beneficial
• Ideally experience of using Sage Line 50
• Understanding of Microsoft Outlook and basic understanding of Excel
• Confident computer skills
