Our inpatient ward at Martlets helps us care for our patients and their families. The ward, comprising of two wings, has 14 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and access to outside spaces. The rooms are designed to be calming and comfortable. The inpatient ward has a dedicated team of specialist doctors and nurses supported by health care assistants. Some people choose to spend their final weeks with us. However, most patients can go home once we have their symptoms under control.Our reception desk is the first point of call for all visitors, and we are looking for volunteers to help carry out a range of reception duties ensuring everyone is greeted with a warm welcome. This role is weekend cover only, doing a half day Saturday or Sunday morning or afternoon.
