The individual should demonstrate curiosity, a willingness to learn, and the ability to apply engineering fundamentals in a practical design environment. Able to work effectively within a team while developing increasing levels of technical independence. The role requires the following experience and skills: <ul> <li>BEng, BSc, MSc, MEng in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience with HND/HNC in applicable subject.</li> <li>Exposure to mechanical design, CAD modelling, or engineering analysis through academic projects, placements, early career roles or active experience within another relevant role.</li> <li>Basic Mechanical Engineering Calculations.</li> <li>Basic Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes utilised in Aerospace.</li> <li>Ability to resolve challenges with moderate supervision or guidance.</li> <li>Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workload appropriately in conjunction with Project Management.</li> <li>Perform work accurately with moderate supervision with a methodical approach to their work.</li> <li>Basic understanding of design requirements to ensure designs meet contracted specifications.</li> </ul> Important to know Applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment must meet the requirement of right to work in the UK.
