They are looking for Production Operatives to join their hardworking and busy team in St Leonards on Sea. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a manufacturing production position, ideally possess machine operating experience, have an excellent attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude. As a Production Operative you will be machine operating, cleaning up panels after they have been cut and fabricated, moving finished stock around the factory as well as packing and sending the final products. Mechanical Fitter

Our client is a leading designer and maker of premium quality sofas and upholstery products based in Hastings, East Sussex. A vacancy has arisen for an Upholsterer to join their hardworking team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within an upholstery position as well as some quality checking experience. You will be able to use staple guns and furniture upholstery tools, as well as the ability to read drawings and follow instruction. As an Upholsterer you will be contributing and maintaining the smooth flow of production in line with the planned company schedule to ensure that the correct product is delivered on time, whilst maintaining the Company s high standard of quality. You'll be machining cast iron components (primarily housings and flanges) on a Makino a77 horizontal machining centre, using existing machine programs and performing accurate in-process inspection.
