- Measure, cut, fit and finish timber components accurately.
- Install hardware and inspect completed work for quality.

- Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber-based components to precise dimensions.
- Glue, fit and clamp components and sub-assemblies into complete units.
- Install and adjust hinges, drawer runners, catches, locks, handles and associated hardware.
- Sand and prepare joints and surfaces ready for finishing.
- Safely operate and maintain woodworking machinery, power tools and hand tools.
- Inspect completed work against quality requirements and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop and support occasional site work.
- Proven experience as a furniture maker, cabinet maker, joiner or within a similar woodworking role.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, hand tools, joinery techniques and timber-based materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work accurately from measurements.
- High attention to detail with practical problem-solving skills.
- A reliable and punctual approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred due to occasional site work.
- £28,704 per year
- Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30, with a one-hour lunch break.
