What you'll be doing: Manage the external events function for the organisation to ensure there is a proactive, centralised programme that aligns with our strategic objectives. • Accountable for our events and speaker strategy, ensuring it meets our strategic objectives and helps to build our brand and reputation. • Develop and implement an integrated content strategy that maximises ROI, aligns with our purpose, supports the identified objectives, and grows our brand. • Uses data and analytics to identify, implement, evaluate and improve any events. • Manage sponsorship for events in line with strategic objectives and speaker plan. • Oversee the creation of event marketing materials, such as flyers, invitations, banners and merchandise. • Create and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Brand & Events Manager: People's Partnership

We are looking for an experienced Events Manager to join a company in the events sector operating globally to produce and deliver international business summits in the sustainability sector. The Events Manager will lead organisation of international business summits, from venue sourcing and supplier &amp; client liaison and budget management to running events on the day and coordinating other teams. The Event Manager will: <ul> <li>Manage tasks, projects, and events ensuring they are delivered on time, to budget and at a high standard</li> <li>Oversee event logistics and operations including venue &amp; AV set up, hotel block bookings, floorplans, catering, exhibition planning and travel/accommodation for the team</li> <li>Collaborate with Event Assistants, speakers and stakeholders for seamless event delivery</li> <li>Plan and allocate team workloads and manage timelines</li> <li>Research and negotiate with vendors, suppliers and AV companies</li> <li>Manage events on the day, overseeing onsite teams</li> <li>Ensure speakers are fully briefed and engaged throughout the event lifecycle</li> <li>Coordinate with the marketing team to help plan event marketing campaigns</li> <li>Work with event partners to ensure the fulfilment of contract deliverables</li> </ul> Skills &amp; experience required: <ul> <li>Previous event management experience is essential and should include the ability to oversee a full event cycle from venue sourcing, budget management, stakeholder and supplier liaison, through to running events onsite</li> <li>Experience creating, monitoring and managing event budgets, ensuring cost control, value for money, and accurate financial reporting</li> <li>Excellent organisational skills and outstanding communication skills</li> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and ideally experience with registration systems / online meeting platforms such as Cvent and Swapcard</li> <li>Additional language skills in Portuguese, Spanish or Arabic would be an advantage but not essential</li> <li>Flexibility with working hours around events and a willingness to travel internationally</li> </ul> Salary, hours and company benefits: <ul> <li> 40,000 to 45,000 based on experience</li> <li>Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, office based in Brighton</li> <li>25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus Birthday off, plus a volunteer day</li> <li>Contributory pension</li> <li>Life assurance scheme</li> <li>Group income protection</li> <li>Wellbeing and health benefits</li> <li>Cycle to work and electric car schemes</li> </ul> Wild Recruitment Ltd T/A First Recruitment Services is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
