Our Advocacy Services take action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests, and obtain services they need.We are seeking to appoint an Independent Mental Health Advocate (IMHA) in West Sussex. The role will be based at Langley Green Hospital in Crawley, with regular travel to other sites in West Sussex, including weekly visits to Meadowfield Hospital in Worthing and occasional visits to the Brighton office for meetings and training.This role involves providing Independent Mental Health Advocacy, working within the framework of the Mental Health Act 1983 to support people to understand their rights under the Act and participate in decisions about their care and treatment across the area of West Sussex. As a Procurement Manager, you will be assisting with the strategic sourcing direction for Consumer Product &amp; Network related spend categories across Sky Group (UK, DACH and ITA) and Comcast/NBCU in the US. The role will involve interaction with other departments at global and local level, including various Technology/Product areas, Finance and Legal. What you'll do:<ul> <li>Reporting to the Head of Procurement for Content Protection and IoT, you will support the team and help to deliver local and group wide deals across our key markets (USA, UK, Italy and Germany). You will also support other leaders within the Consumer Product and Networks team, in line with the Enterprise Procurement operating model. </li> <li>Contribute to the Procurement strategy for the team's spend categories, which include customer premise equipment, content protection technologies and IoT devices. </li> <li>Own and lead data gathering and analytics for the team on spend information, contract data, market analysis and other required data and reports.</li> <li>Own a pipeline of tactical deals in Content Protection and IoT and support a range of strategic initiatives within the wider category.</li> <li>Build and maintain internal partner relationships, with regular communication, ensuring clear understanding and alignment between their strategic technology plans and Procurement's direction.</li> <li>Be able to produce deal summaries, create/deliver quality presentations and reports on a regular basis at Director-level, demonstrating an ability to clearly communicate financial and non-financial benefits to stakeholders.</li> <li>Provide strategic commercial input to a broad range of initiatives, including company-wide cost-saving programmes.</li> <li>Understand the external factors and key challenges faced in the Media industry and use this knowledge to drive innovation and challenge current business processes.</li></ul>What you'll bring:<ul> <li>Proven Procurement experience specifically including the development of category plans, sourcing tools/techniques and data analysis expertise.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen to and understand the needs of our stakeholders whilst having the confidence to challenge them when necessary/appropriate. </li> <li>Demonstrable knowledge and experience of running sourcing activities, including RFPs, contract management, large scale contract renewals, stakeholder management.</li> <li>Demonstrable understanding of key contract terms such as liabilities, indemnities, intellectual property rights, termination rights etc. </li> <li>Good understanding of Sky/Comcast, our platforms and products, and the wider context within which our business operates.</li> <li>Experience of working in an analyst role and within a procurement team.</li> <li>Experience in a global / pan-European function and a clear understanding of the challenges this can present.</li></ul>Procurement: We bring the best from the global market into Sky - we buy technology, marketing, corporate, operational services and editorial production solutions.
