What You'll Be Doing
- Operate manual lathes and milling machines to produce precision components
- Machine parts to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Carry out basic inspection using measuring equipment
- Ensure components meet specification before release
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating manual lathes and mills
- Ability to machine components to tight tolerances
- Confident reading engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience within a precision engineering or machine shop environment
