London Gatwick is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to lead a pivotal role in the implementation of our ambitious infrastructure investment plan. You'll drive excellence in safety, cost-effectiveness, quality, and sustainability, supporting the delivery of transformative projects that will enhance passenger experience and operational capacity.What will you do?<ul><li>Lead the development and implementation of our Capital Programmes Supply Chain Strategy (SCS) aligned to investment plans and business objectives.</li><li>Approve procurement strategies and tender award recommendations for multiple construction programmes.</li><li>Oversee procurement across project and programme levels, ensuring consistency, control, and compliance with governance standards.</li><li>Engage with suppliers across the supply chain (1st to 3rd tier), managing risk, communication, and performance across ~100 strategic suppliers.</li><li>Lead framework procurement and negotiation processes, clearly defining responsibilities and establishing robust controls.</li><li>Champion best practice procurement across all projects, driving value and efficiency while managing risk and opportunity.</li><li>Build and inspire a high-performing procurement team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with NEC4 contracts, RIBA project lifecycle, and London Gatwick's commercial standards.</li></ul>Do you have what we're looking for?<ul><li>Degree or equivalent experience in a commercial, construction, or business field.</li><li>Professional qualification such as RICS, MCIPS, or IACCM (or equivalent) essential; further certifications (e.g. APM, Prince2, Lean) desirable.</li><li>Proven leadership in capital procurement and contract management on large-scale infrastructure or construction programmes.</li><li>Deep experience across the full procurement lifecycle with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Strong understanding of NEC4 contract forms (A, C, E), procurement of Design, Professional Services, Specialist Systems, and Construction.</li><li>Track record of delivering complex procurements in highly regulated environments, driving strategic outcomes and commercial value.</li><li>A collaborative leader, capable of coaching and developing others while driving continuous improvement and an inclusive team culture.</li></ul>What's in it for you?We value our people and reward every employee fairly with a highly competitive package, enhanced by a discretionary annual bonus, free staff parking, discounted rail travel to work, share matching scheme and more.
