You'll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.The main purpose of this role is to support the 'Head of Group Reporting and Treasury'.The group reporting remit of the role will include leading the year end group reporting, production of statutory accounts for the UK Group's legal entities and ensuring the integrity of reporting is maintained. The treasury remit of this individual's responsibilities will include maintaining the Group's daily cashflow position, reporting this to Senior Stakeholders, and proposing necessary cash movements.You will be a self motivated, driven, and trusted professional who's keen to improve processes. You'll also:<ul><li>Be a key banking contact, support refinancing activities with sophisticated group cashflow modelling, regularly updating the master model for budgets and forecasts.</li><li>Monitoring and managing the organisation's bank relationships and liquidity management.</li><li>Managing foreign currency exposure.</li><li>Analysing various scenarios and risks and reporting to senior management.</li><li>Forecasting of medium and long term funding and hedging requirements (if any).</li><li>Daily cash management.</li><li>Debt facilities management.</li><li>Interest rate risk management and development of risk mitigation strategies.</li><li>Foreign exchange risk management and development of foreign exchange risk mitigation strategies.</li><li>Manage cashflow forecasts and ensure compliance with banking covenants.</li><li>Assist with resolution of complex accounting areas &amp; issues.</li><li>Assist with external audit &amp; ONS submissions.</li><li>Assist with balance sheet reconciliations process.</li><li>Preparing management reports.</li><li>Liaising with senior management across the Finance team.</li><li>Supporting the month end process where necessary.</li><li>Proactively drive necessary process and reporting improvements across the Finance department which automate and add value and identify advantageous market conditions or possibilities.</li><li>Identify process weaknesses or errors and highlight these to senior management together with proposed solutions.</li><li>Contribute ideas to the long term planning and strategy of the Finance department.</li><li>Team management.</li><li>Conduct performance management, including annual and interim appraisals.</li></ul>You'll be someone with the following credentials:<ul><li>Qualified Accountant - CIMA, ACA or ACCA - PQE or equivalent.</li><li>Confident in researching and implementing complex accounting standards.</li><li>Understanding and experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cashflow and various financial instruments.</li><li>Sound understanding of accounting principles.</li><li>Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt instruments.</li><li>Knowledge of banking relationships and covenants.</li></ul>You'll be able to be yourself; we'll recognise and value you for who you are and celebrate and reward your contributions to the business.
