The successful candidate will work alongside our current Site Manager from Wednesday 17th September for a handover, before taking full responsibility for the site from Monday 22nd September until handover back on Tuesday 30th September.During this period, you will oversee site operations, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Manage day-to-day site operations during the absence of the permanent Site Manager</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure health &amp; safety standards are maintained at all times.</li><li>Oversee roofing, cladding, and glazing installations.</li><li>Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and site activities.</li><li>Maintain site records and report progress/issues as required.</li><li>Handover back to the Site Manager upon their return.</li></ul> Requirements <ul><li>Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction.</li><li>Strong knowledge of roofing, cladding, and glazing installations.</li><li>Valid SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work (or equivalent certifications).</li><li>Excellent organisational and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.</li><li>Must be reliable, professional, and ideally located locally to the site.</li></ul>

Trainee Assistant Site Manager

I am currently in need of a Site Manager to manage a small refurbishment of a nursery in the Kent / East Sussex area for a main contractor. The project is a live refurbishment of an existing internal area and making alterations to previously undertaken work in preparation for the start of the new term. The Candidate - must be capable of delivering the project standalone reporting into a visiting contract manager and be able to do sequencing, short term programming, trade management, site inductions, raise permits, tool box talks, work to tight deadlines, influence H&amp;S on site, Q/A etc.Site tickets required are SMSTS, CSCS &amp; First Aid qualified.
