This role involves collaboration with new and existing supporters while keeping internal teams informed about opportunities and developments.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop, implement, and manage specific fundraising initiatives to meet annual income targets.</li><li>Support event planning and community volunteering efforts by providing valuable contacts.</li><li>Stimulate and maintain interest among corporate contacts, sharing information across teams.</li><li>Collaborate with the CEO to identify and evaluate new fundraising opportunities.</li><li>Maintain compliance with fundraising regulations, data protection, and best practices.</li><li>Act as a fundraising advocate, delivering presentations and fostering lasting relationships with regional individuals, organizations, and companies.</li><li>Manage relationships with Charity Ambassadors, securing and tailoring roles to their skills.</li><li>Continuously engage with care staff and supporters to ensure the highest standards of donor care and stewardship.</li></ul>Key Requirements:<ul><li>A minimum of 2 years in a fundraising role with hands-on experience in generating significant income.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to secure income close to or exceeding £1M.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong organizational and planning capabilities with an ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.</li><li>Proficiency in database management.</li><li>A valid full driving licence; flexible to work some weekends and evenings.</li></ul>Desired Qualifications/Skills:<ul><li>Previous experience in database management systems.</li><li>Familiarity with fundraising regulations and best practices.</li><li>Experience working in a charitable environment.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Company events</li><li>Company pension</li><li>Free parking</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul>
