We are working in partnership with a range of well-regarded secondary schools across Brighton and the wider Sussex area, who are looking to appoint passionate subject specialist teachers to join their teams.

With opportunities available from September (and immediate starts), this is a fantastic chance to teach within your subject specialism and make a meaningful impact on student outcomes.

We are particularly interested in specialists in:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
  • Humanities (History, Geography, RE)
  • Modern Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, German)

  • PE, Art, Music & Drama

The Role

  • Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 in some settings)
  • Use strong subject expertise to stretch and challenge students
  • Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Track progress and provide effective feedback
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Contribute to departmental and whole-school development

About You

  • Hold QTS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong academic background in your subject specialism
  • Experience teaching in a UK secondary setting (including placements for ECTs)
  • Confident in behaviour management and classroom delivery
  • Passionate about education with a commitment to student success
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and student wellbeing
