Bike Dispatch Manager: Balfes Bikes

Are you a Warehouse Operative with at least 2 years hands-on experience? We re supporting a Portslade-based company that s looking for someone confident in a warehouse environment. If you ve worked across goods-in and goods-out, handled heavy loads, and know your way around picking and inspecting orders - this could be a great fit. Warehouse experience is essential, and while a forklift licence or FLT experience would be a bonus, they re happy to offer in-house training if you re keen to learn. It s a friendly team, and they re looking for someone reliable, experienced, and ready to hit the ground running. As a Warehouse Operative, your key responsibilities will include but not limited to: <ul> <li>Picking, packing, and inspecting goods for dispatch</li> <li>Storing goods correctly and safely within the warehouse</li> <li>Operating labelling machines</li> <li>Loading and unloading lorries</li> <li>Driving forklift tuck</li> <li>Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting stock takes</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Strong attention to detail</li> <li>Prior experience in a warehouse setting</li> <li>Forklift experience (desirable but not essential)</li> </ul> Benefits: <ul> <li>21 days holiday + bank holidays + closed over the Christmas period</li> <li>Performance related bonus scheme</li> <li>Pension plan</li> <li>Early finish on Fridays!</li> </ul> This is a full time permanent position working in a warehouse based in Portslade, Brighton.
