Job Role:&nbsp; Warehouse OperativeLocation:&nbsp; Crawley, West SussexThis role is a 12-hour shift, 7am -7pm on a four days on four days off working pattern.Pay:&nbsp;£28,000.00-£31,000.00 per yearRole SummaryWorking as part of the Warehouse Operations team, this role includes the full range of warehouse disciplines including&nbsp;receiving and inspecting deliveries,&nbsp;organising and storing goods,&nbsp;picking and packing orders, maintaining&nbsp;inventory records, and performing&nbsp;quality checks&nbsp;to ensure products meet Aerospace Industry standards.&nbsp;This role requires strong&nbsp;organisational skills, attention to detail, physical stamina for manual handling, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.&nbsp;Full training in each area will be received in line with our standard operating procedures.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Receiving &amp; Inspection:&nbsp;Receiving shipments of aircraft components, verify part numbers and aerospace paperwork against shipping documents, and inspect goods for damage or defects.</li><li>Stock Management:&nbsp;Sort, organise, and correctly store materials and products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper storage conditions are met for different items.</li><li>Inventory Control:&nbsp;Maintain accurate inventory records using AvSight, our ERP software, to track all inbound and outbound goods.</li><li>Order Fulfilment:&nbsp;Pick items from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders, carefully packaging them for dispatch and preparing all necessary shipping documentation.</li><li>Quality Assurance:&nbsp;Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications, identifying and reporting any issues.</li><li>Liaise effectively with customers, vendors, freight forwarders and courier companies as required.</li><li>Warehouse Maintenance:&nbsp;Clean and maintain the warehouse environment to ensure it is safe and organised. </li><li>Participate in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.</li><li>Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy and procedures, including those relating to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Data Protection and all those contained in Employee Policies and Procedures.</li><li>Undertake other duties and tasks that may be allocated that are reasonable and appropriate to the job.</li></ul>In addition,&nbsp;all employees are expected to:Skills and Qualities<ul><li>Attention to Detail:&nbsp;Essential for inspecting goods, checking paperwork, and maintaining accurate inventory.</li><li>Organisation:&nbsp;Needed to systematically sort and store items, and to maintain organised records and work areas.</li><li>Physical Fitness:&nbsp;The role involves manual handling, including lifting, bending, stretching, and stooping, requiring moderate physical fitness and good mobility.</li><li>Teamwork:&nbsp;The ability to work effectively with colleagues to achieve business targets.</li><li>Technical Skills:&nbsp;Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management software. Position title:&nbsp;Full Time - Stores OperativeReports to:&nbsp;Stores ManagerPosition summary:&nbsp;Leo Cancer Care requires a Stores operative to help oversee the efficient operation of our company's storage facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Working week 37.5 hrs Monday to Friday.Key responsibilities&nbsp;<ul><li>Maintain accurate records of all items in the storage facility.</li><li>Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.</li><li>Ensure all items are properly labeled, stored in a safe manner, and documented.</li><li>Prepare items for dispatch, including picking, packaging, labeling, and loading onto delivery vehicles.
