Train Cleaner/Polisher

Location: Crawley

Duration of contract: 6 Months

Pay Rate: 15.59 per hour PAYE / 20.00 per hour Umbrella

Semi-Skilled Operatives - Immediate Start

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Semi-Skilled Operatives to join a busy rail project focused on the cleaning, polishing, and aesthetic improvement of train exteriors.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the rail industry, with full training provided and opportunities to progress into higher-paid skilled roles.

What You'll Be Doing

• Cleaning and polishing train exteriors to a high standard
• Supporting refurbishment and aesthetic improvement works
• Working as part of a team in a fast-paced depot environment
• Maintaining health & safety standards at all times

What We're Looking For

• Semi-skilled candidates with some trade or hands-on experience (e.g. labouring, fabrication, detailing, cleaning, mechanical support)
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual, active work
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and progress

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 11:00am - 8:30pm
• Overtime may be available (earlier starts), but not guaranteed

Pay & Progression

• 20.00 per hour (semi-skilled rate)
• Opportunity to progress to 23.00 per hour (skilled rate) based on performance
• Consistent work for 6 months with immediate starts available
