Zest Optical are currently recruiting for an Optometrist to join a long-established independent Opticians in Midhurst, West Sussex. This independent practice has been providing trusted eye care to the local Midhurst community for over 30 years. They are known for delivering a high standard of clinical service supported by modern technology, a loyal patient base, and a welcoming team environment. Services include enhanced eye examinations, dry eye clinics, contact lens care, and more.

With continued growth, they are now looking to welcome an Optometrist who shares their patient-first ethos.

Optometrist - Role Summary

• Based in a well-established independent Opticians in Midhurst
• 40-45 minute test times to support thorough, personalised care
• Work alongside experienced Dispensing Opticians and fellow Optometrists
• Equipment includes OCT and Optomap
• Practice management system: Optinet Flex
• No sales pressure - a service-led, patient-focused approach
• Involved in developing clinical services and improving patient journey
• Opportunities to undertake additional accreditations or training
• Flexible working - 3, 4, or 5 days per week, with alternate Saturdays
• Closed Sundays and Mondays Opening hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm
• Parking available nearby

Candidate Requirements

• GOC-registered Optometrist
• Strong commitment to delivering outstanding patient care
• A confident, approachable communicator who thrives in a team setting
• Comfortable working in an independent, service-focused practice

The Package

• Salary between £55,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
• Flexible part-time or full-time working options
• 1 in 2 Saturdays (no Sundays or Mondays)
