As a Shipping & Logistics Specialist in the aviation industry, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods and materials. Based in Burgess Hill, you'll handle day-to-day logistics operations, helping the business run efficiently and meet its delivery goal

Description

  • Coordinate the shipment of goods, ensuring on-time deliveries to customers and partners.
  • Track and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including invoices and customs forms.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Resolve any issues related to shipping delays or disruptions.
  • Monitor logistics costs and ensure operations stay within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to management.

Profile

A successful Shipping & Logistics Specialist should have:

  • Experience in logistics, shipping or supply chain management.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Job Offer

  • Hourly pay of 14.00 to 17.00, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Temporary contract providing flexibility.
