With an ageing population and increasing demand for our services, we’re looking for a highly experienced Fundraiser Manager to help us grow our voluntary income and deepen our impact even further.This is a pivotal role, leading the development and delivery of a sustainable fundraising strategy that supports our mission to help people love later life.You will initially work alone as we shape and grow the team going forward. You’ll be confident and assertive in working across the different fundraising income streams and with your knowledge and experience, guide us on what we need to do next.The role involves developing local relationships, a strong understanding of West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and its communities is essential. Our centres are the heart of local communities - welcoming spaces where older people come to stay active, connected and supported. You’ll play a key role in ensuring these buildings are safe, efficient, well-maintained and sustainable for everyone who uses them.Working closely with our Compliance &amp; Quality Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating maintenance and refurbishment projects, supporting sustainability and health &amp; safety initiatives, and contributing to long-term estate planning. Your work will directly help Age UK West Sussex, Brighton &amp; Hove continue providing high-quality services that make a real difference in people’s lives.This is a hybrid role, combining home and centre based working. You can choose your main base from any of our centres, with occasional travel to others. A driving licence and use of a car is essential as you’ll need to be able to travel independently across West Sussex when required.The role is 20 hours per week, ideally Monday to Friday, with essential cover on Mondays and Fridays.
