We have a really exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to work within a Company Secretariat function.  If you are highly analytical and extremely organised and have a passion for working within governance operations, then this is the opportunity for you.
 
Joining our highly valued Company Secretariat function to ensure the Group is operating within its Corporate Governance responsibilities.   We are looking for a strong administrator who has already identified that working within this area is their desired career path and will be committed to completing the ICSA examinations (we provide excellent study support and help fund the qualification).
 
Some key responsibilities will be:

  • Making all arrangements for relevant meetings to include: Compiling agenda on the basis of instructions received; seeking, tracking and collating board papers to support agenda (30+ per meeting); booking meeting venues, arrange catering and parking and communicate arrangements/update to arrangements to attendees;
  • Assist with agenda setting exercise and upload of meeting papers
  • Attending meetings and taking minutes for specified committees/Boards and in the absence of the Company Secretary;
  • Filing statutory accounts, annual returns and other statutory forms with Companies House as instructed by the Group Company Secretary

  • You’ll be educated to A Level standard with a minimum of 2 grades B or above
  • You’ll be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. PowerPoint (an advantage but not essential)
  • You’ll be 100% committed to completing ICSA examinations to qualify as a Chartered Secretary over a four year period
  • You’ll have strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • You’ll have a good team ethic with a clear understanding of the importance of excellent administration
  • You’ll have proven ability to work well under pressure and in a challenging environment
