The Role
Cova Security Gates Ltd are seeking a junior trainee sales administrator who will assist and support with the general day to day duties of the sales and marketing department.
The role will involve:
- Answering the telephone & transferring calls around the business.
- Using Microsoft word, excel and power-point on a daily basis.
- Using our Microsoft Customer Relationship Management system where we log all incoming and outgoing telephone calls and emails (Training will be provided)
- Helping Marketing get ready for exhibitions with collating leaflets, brochures etc.
Ideally you’ll be confident asking and answering questions on the phone.
This role would suit someone looking to start their career in a junior sales position looking to grow their career with a global company. The successful candidate’s progress will be regularly reviewed to identify training needs in order to support their career.
You’ll be expected to learn about our products with a view to eventually being able to confidently respond to specific sales enquiries. It is recognised that product familiarisation and training will be necessary but the candidate must possess the desire and passion to ‘want to learn’.
The role will be varied and interesting and there will be scope to visit exhibitions and assist with site visits. For the right candidate the role offers some great opportunities to progress their career into a Sales & Marketing Assistant.

Initially this is a SUMMER temporary position starting ASAP until early September 2018 and would suit a higher education school leaver or college person.
For the right candidate there is an opportunity for this role to become a permanent position and there will be a paid salary which will be discussed during the interview if successful.
You must be able to commute to Manor Royal Crawley and the hours are Monday – Friday 9am-5.30pm
