Product Tester - PPL Insights

Are you (or do you know someone) who is:

• Interested in ad hoc part time work that will run from October 2018 and may run for the next  2 or 3 years or even beyond that.
• Regularly available on weekdays, between 9.30am and 2.30pm
• Would like to be paid £10 per hour plus travelling expenses (within reason)

We are recruiting people to join a panel of expert product assessors to assess the tactile sensory characteristics (the feel) of a variety of products like tissues and wipes. So you will need to be good at assessing differences in softness, thickness, stiffness etc. as well as visual differences.

The panel will be based on Manor Royal Crawley and will typically meet twice a week for 1 to 3 hours each time. However, there may be weeks when the panel does not meet but then there may be other weeks when the panel needs to meet 3 or 4 times. It all depends on how many products are required to be assessed and when they are available.

Please note that we shall need to check a few details with you and you will also need to take part in a sensory screening test before you can be accepted onto the panel and be trained.

The screening sessions will take place on either 25^th or 27^th Sept. If you pass the screening and are accepted onto the panel then you would need to attend a training session lasting 2 hours on 8^th Oct and also two further 2 hour sessions that week.

You will be paid £10 per hour, plus travel expenses (within reason), once you have passed the screening stage.
