AerFin Ltd specialises in aircraft end of life solutions, using our extensive inventory holding to support our airline and MRO customer base with quality used material to reduce maintenance costs whilst maintaining the quality and integrity of the asset.

Our portfolio of services ranges from PBH support packages for airlines, 24/7 AOG support from both our London and Singapore based distribution centres, engine leasing, innovative material supply programs for MROs through to Technical consultancy projects to lessors and operators. We also provide engine disassembly services for CFM and RR engines from our 100,000sqft UK based warehouse.

Summary:

Working within a small team reporting to the Head of Sales and Inventory, the Inventory Analyst is primarily responsible for analysing and managing PBH provisioning, A/C Teardown harvest lists and other Airframe inventory analysis/optimisation activities. The inventory analyst will also be responsible for managing the adhoc exchange pool, identifying inventory for repair and evaluating key opportunities for repair MODs, market trend analysis and specialist product knowledge.                                             

Although primarily office based, occasional travel for liaison with airlines, external suppliers, and customers may be required and accordingly the role requires good communication skills and ability to maintain key relationships, have a current valid passport and driving licence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Analyse and review provisioning requirements for current and future PBH programs
  • Analyse and review harvest lists from ongoing AerFin A/C teardowns
  • Optimising current Airframe inventory holding to ensure maximum availability and desirability to current and future AerFin customers
  • Analysing and managing the adhoc exchange pool
  • Updating and maintaining the integrity of AerFin ERP system (Quantum)
  • Identification of key opportunities for lower spec PN modification
  • Part number reviews for SBs and ADs
  • Review of market for product trends
  • LOT reviews for recovery plan
  • Work closely with the contract team to establish optimal inventory holding
  • Work closely with the acquisitions team to prepare harvest lists, master docs and strategic purchasing
  • Purchasing product line “hot parts” for sale or to enhance existing exchange pool
  • Analysis and review of push lists for package creation and management
  • CLP and FMV pricing intelligence gathering
  • All other duties as assigned

    Education and/or Experience:

  • Educated to a minimum of GCSE standard in Mathematics and English grade A to C
  • A practical interest in aviation and engineering
  • Relevant experience in the Aerospace Industry

  • NVQ BTech to level 2 and 3

  • Holds existing customer/supplier relationships in Aviation
  • Product knowledge of the following A/C types: Ejet, Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737NG
