Celebrating more than 30 years at the forefront of the perimeter security industry, Cova Security Gates are proud to deliver quality products that are functional and reliable, with a focus on providing excellent customer service throughout the world.

From our factory (near Gatwick Airport) we offer a full turnkey solution from design, manufacture and the installation of bi-folding gates, sliding gates, bollards, barriers and road blockers. Additionally, our products can be upgraded to be 'crash rated' to enable protection to property and people from a vehicle attack.

We offer our clients a range of installation options and after-sales service and maintenance programmes, which is where this role fits in within our team.

We were proud to have been awarded ‘Manufacturing Business of the Year' in 2017, the reward from our continued growth and success along which was recognised for our drive to build a strong work ethic, backed up by solid processes and committed work force.

As a result, we are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated team players to help us on our path of further growth and development.

The Role:
As part of our Field Service & Installation Engineer team, you’ll work alongside our team of mobile installation, maintenance and service engineers who carry out the full installation of our perimeter security products. You'll also be attending installations, breakdowns, servicing and maintenance routine checks, call outs and repairs to contracted clients to assist with their gates, barriers and road blockers. As well as our own products, we also look after other gate and barrier companies.

Working closely with our ‘Cova Care’ administration team, you’ll visit new and existing clients mainly within London and South East, but also across the UK (occasional foreign travel is an option).

Reporting directly to the Field Operations Manager we’re seeking someone who is self-motivated, confident, have a true customer service approach to problem solving and who can complete all work to a high standard having completed Cova’s in-house training.

Attention to detail is key as you’ll need to keep accurate records of checks made, tasks undertaken and completing reporting following a client visit. You’ll be responsible for keeping stock and managing the materials and parts on your vehicle, ensuring it’s stocked up for everything you need ahead of the next job.

Due to the nature of the role the successful applicant will need a full clean driving licence, a good level of fitness and be able to pass security clearances.
