Are you a customer champion with experience of dealing with and resolving difficult customer issues and complaints effectively via various methods?  If so, look no further!  We are looking for a Customer Relations / complaints Executive to join our Crawley, Manor Royal team (RH10 9SR) to investigate and respond to all customer complaints.  You will work with colleagues and suppliers to feedback issues with the aim to prevent issues from reoccurring.    This is a full time role (37.5 hours per week) on a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave.  As Travelopia is made up of over 50 brands however, there will likely be other opportunities for you to apply for at the end of this period.   No weekend or evening hours required!  Just shifts of either 9am-5pm or 9.30am until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday!

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for investigating and responding to complaints from our customers within deadlines set by the business and external authorities. You will aim to exceed customer satisfaction whilst meeting the needs of the business, communicating via email, letter and telephone.  You will need to adapt to the style of each customer, whilst showing the highest level of accuracy, and presentation.  You will also liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure the recovery of any costs paid out, as well as identifying Health and Safety/Liability and Legal issues within the complaint.

As part of our strategy we want to deliver fabulous customer experiences to all of our customers, so you will work alongside the other Customer Relations Executives (4), and Manager, internal departments and suppliers to feedback to the source of the complaint, highlighting any issues for concern, with the aim of reducing reoccurring complaints.

What we are looking for:

- Previous experience of dealing effectively with customer complaints and issues effectively via email, phone and letter

- Excellent written and verbal skills including a good grasp of English grammar and spelling

- Excellent numerical skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- An ability to meet tight deadlines, using initiative to work alone and part of a team

- A flexible and highly organised individual

- Experience of the travel industry within a Customer Relations environment would be beneficial
