Do you enjoy being the first point of contact ensuring excellent customer service is provided to clients and customers? Have you worked in a customer services environment looking for a challenging role in a brand new team? Due to growth we now require a number of  Customer Service Executives for our contact centre team on a part time basis to cover a NEW evening shift from 4pm to 8pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays. Working in our award winning contact centre you will be handling customer service queries managing all customer activities across a range of products to ensure exceptional levels of service are delivered continually in line with agreed service standards. You will identify, escalate and analyse each customer call and transfer over to the relevant departments if needed and support and promote B&CE and The Peoples Pension to customers, Strategic Business Partners, Advisors and Third Parties.

NOTE: The hours for the position will be Monday to Friday 4pm to 8pm to include 1 in 4 Saturdays. You will also need to commit to a 3 to 4 week training course to start in July.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering excellent customer service and technical support over the telephone handling inbound calls regarding a all of our products
  • To attempt where possible to deal with members in first instance to a final and satisfactory outcome to reduce call backs (First call Resolution).
  • Build and maintain member’s trust and confidence to maximise, member, advisor, and third party satisfaction.
  • Answer any customer service query transferring calls to the correct team when needed.
  • Identify and escalate customer complaints offering excellent customer service.
  • Support and promote B&CE and The People’s Pension.

If you’re right for this role?

  • Previous experience of working in a customer services environment.
  • Working knowledge of Pensions or Financial Services industry an advantage.
  • Be able to communicate information confidently and clearly – both written and verbally.
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
