Manor Royal Business Ranger - SWL Security Services

SWL Security Services are currently recruiting for a Business Ranger to work on the prestigious Manor Royal Business Improvement District in Crawley. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an SIA Approved Contractor in a unique roll genuinely bridging the gap between businesses, the community and the Police. Your role will include visiting businesses within Manor Royal and dealing with low level volume crime as well as public space issues. You will build strong relationships with the BID Management Team, business owners / Managers, the Business Crime Reduction Partnership and the Police. You will be supported with full training including physical intervention, first aid and Community Safety Accreditation Scheme and will be expected to complete our bespoke task book which will assist you to rise to the next level of competence. Underpinning you efforts will be our crime reporting software platform and our 24 hour Alarm Receiving Centre.

Both SIA and non-SIA can apply, full training will be provided for the applicant and will include a Sia license.

To assist you with your role you will receive a mobile phone, and high-quality full uniform. You will be employed on a PAYE basis on a minimum 40-hour contract with 28 days’ annual leave entitlement. You will be paid £10.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate;

• 5-year checkable work history
• Previous Security and customer service experience
• Full Driving Licence
