Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain while maintaining inventory at minimum acceptable levels.

  • Perform distribution planning to support global parts banks.

  • Assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system.

  • Accountable for on time delivery of parts and FRUs to internal stakeholders.

  • Manages the execution and timely closure of internal transfers between sites/service and

    installations.

  • Resolves escalated issues from sites, installation and service stakeholders, reporting back on

    progress, gaps, and roadblocks.

  • Accountable for setting and managing the inventory stocking levels at the sites and service in

    accordance with Master Plan.

  • Accountable for the inventory optimization at stocking locations (DC hubs etc.) and inventory

    control.

  • Coordinates with Finance/Accounting on all matters involving inventory.

  • Reviews and plans requirements for acceptable inventory.

  • Identifies and closes operational gaps within regional execution teams.

  • Drives continuous improvement projects to completion within regions.

  • Selects, develops and leading EMEA wide team to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

  • Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce

    costs and ensure cost-effective procurement.

  • Participates, presents and represents global supply chain execution in various internal meetings.

  • Partner with Site managers for preparation for quarterly execution review with senior GSC

    leadership.

  • Manages Deviation Reports and carries out Root Cause Analysis.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent related, including team management or supervisory experience.

  • Excellent planning capabilities and knowledge.

  • Experience within an OEM service organization.

  • Ability, competence, and confidence to lead an EMEA wide team.

  • Effective interpersonal skills.

  • Detailed knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and JIT philosophies.

  • Excellent negotiation skills within an Engineering Manufacturing environment.

  • Membership with CIPS/BPICS or equivalent preferred.

  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
