Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you would be responsible for end to end hiring across a number of markets in Europe (including UK, France, Nordics, Benelux). You will be consulting with the business to support active hiring and pipelining for future capability needs. You would partner closely with the Country Leadership teams to design proactive talent sourcing initiatives to meet business growth objectives. You would be accountable for ensuring delivery all hiring – many in Sales, Marketing, a range of support functions.

We would prefer the candidate to be based near Crawley, UK, but given most recruitment is remote anyway, we would consider candidates across the UK.

The Global Talent Acquisition organization is going through transformation. Investments are being made into a new global hiring model, new global hiring process, new social media strategy, CRM and other new technology. You would support the transformation in Europe supporting implementation, change management / coaching Managers, driving model adoption in HR, ensuring compliance, and providing new TA service deliverables (pipelining, direct sourcing, employer branding), hiring manager interview training / brand ambassadorship, etc. Joining in a time of transformation means that we are looking for someone with entrepreneurial spirit … someone who is comfortable with ambiguity as we “build the plane while flying it”.

You should be passionate about developing meaningful relationships, with internal business stakeholders understanding short- and long-term skills and capability needs, and with external candidates curious about a career with the Straumann Group.

Once COVID has passed, travel may be required across the European region.

 

Who we are looking for …

  • Experienced Recruiter who has at least 5 years experience supporting volume and niche vacancies, in a corporate or agency environment. Experience in carrying requisitions across various functions and levels.
  • Passionate Sourcer, confidently using LinkedIn Recruiter data and insights to hunt and engage purple squirrels.
  • Someone who is passionate about delivering impact, who can connect dots by understanding business needs, advise on market trends and use business consulting skills to coach and drive decision making.
  • Understand external talent demographics and tell stories / develop targeted marketing tactics describing our purpose, growth opportunities and impact on the world. Encouraging leaders and employees to be brand ambassadors in video, web and social.
  • Be a champion of diversity and inclusion, coaching managers to think broadly about “who” and “how” they hire understanding the value of diverse teams and mindsets.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills to support the team deliver their day to day objectives whilst also carving out time for higher value project work.
  • Confidence with recruitment technology (ATS, CRM, internal talent data, etc) to support new tech implementation.
  • Understanding KPIs and data to support analysis of hiring process efficiency and team performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years or more in Talent Acquisition (mix of agency and corporate experience preferred) with exposure to full lifecycle recruitment supporting commercial, manufacturing, IT, finance and other functions.
  • Fluency (at business level to drive interviewing) in both English and French.
  • Expert in direct sourcing and using LinkedIn Recruiter to hunt for and engage purple squirrels.
  • Medical Device / Pharma / FMCG experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience in Executive / management hiring with a track record of direct sourcing.
  • Interviewing, assessment and selection champion. Coaching leaders and HR professionals about how to select talent for both “need now” and future capabilities.
  • Confidence in designing marketing campaigns to attract talent.
  • High proficiency in recruitment systems (ATS & CRM).
  • Agency / Search Firm supplier management and terms negotiation.
