The Role
Marshall Motor Group are currently recruiting for a Senior Service Advisor to join our Hyundai dealership in Gatwick. Working as part of a team and reporting to the Service Manager, this role offers you the opportunity to use your customer service and administration skills to keep our service department running smoothly and offers you the opportunity to work closely with the management team as their 2nd in command
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with arranging vehicle servicing appointments
- Manage courtesy car bookings
- Ensure the customer database is updated and accurate based on service activity
- Contribute to a department marketing strategy to promote all products and services
- Plan ahead and manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are achieved
- Greet customers and visitors promptly, courteously and professionally
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all customers, dealership colleagues, suppliers and external representatives
- Maximise service department profitability through the use of professional sales techniques
- Maximising customer awareness of all available workshop services
Required Skills and Experience
As this is a senior role within the service team you would need to have had some experience in a similar Service Advisor role in a franchised dealership. In addition to your experience, you will demonstrate the following:
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- Intermediate IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
